We have put together an option for a round trip boat excursion from Amalfi to Capri on Friday, October 21st. Whether or not you come with us, we strongly recommend you find a way to get to Capri during your time in Ravello. Please read below (or the email) for the details, should you choose to join us!

 The Boat Trip - Friday, October 21st

10:30a-5:30p

Meet at 10:30am at Amalfi Port, approximately 2 miles from Ravello. There are public buses and taxis, and your hotels may have a shuttle.

We will be on 4-5 boats; you may bring a backpack/bag. You might want to bring a change of clothes, and alcohol - if it is warm enough, we will be able to swim off the boats. Both alcohol and a change of clothes may help with that, so pack accordingly.

If the weather allows, your boats will take you into the Blue Grotto - this is an additional fee of 15 euro per person, and can only be paid on site. So if you are coming on the boat trip, remember to bring at least 15 euro per person.

The boats will drop us all off at the port in Capri. You will have approximately 2 hours of time to explore Capri. You may want to look into the funicular - https://www.capri.net/en/getting-around. The center of Capri (downtown if you will) is a steep incline from the Port. You are welcome to hike it, or take the funicular. It brings you up in under 5 minutes and is 2.20 euro per person.

We will then meet our boats at the port, and head back to Amalfi.

Return to Amalfi at 5:30pm

Cost - the cost will be 200-225 euro; we will have a final cost for you once we have details/RSVPs finalized. You'll pay that ahead of time; the only cash you will want to bring on the boat is the entrance fee for the Blue Grotto and the few euro for the funicular.
